I worked in the “gay” area of Dallas for ten years. It’s called Oak Lawn. Gay bars line Cedar Springs Road next to the fire station and many of the streets nearby. Most of the apartments are populated with GLBT people as well as many, many immigrants from nations all over the globe.

Man mowing his lawn discovers 7-10 foot hole

A Cedar Rapids man mowing his lawn has stumbled into a big hole _ but the origin is a mystery. Rick Thompson discovered the hole on Wednesday. He says the grass seemed a little soft in that spot, and he blamed it on the rain. Then his leg sank up to his calf.
