Shepard Smith looks like he's going down hill very quickly. Has anyone heard anything about his status? I don't mean to make light of it or wish him ill but it looks like something is going on.

SOPA is only one reason I ask this. Maybe it's just me, but it seems like I see Lamar Smith coming up more and more, and not in a good way. For those who may have forgotten, here is what Trent Lott said: "We don't need a lot of Jim DeMint disciples," Lott said in an interview. "As soon as they get here, we need to co-opt them." How successful do you think they've been?

An article to be published Friday (Dec. 23) in the December 2011 issue of The Quarterly Review of Biology argues that multiple sclerosis, long viewed as primarily an autoimmune disease, is not actually a disease of the immune system.
